"It is the authoritarianism of a weak man who resents his own weakness and confuses strength with bullying, and authority with punishment. Imbued with a hypertrophied sense of order, he seizes on disobedience to rules as an opportunity to exert what little power he has. But the defining feature of his character is its weakness rather than the bossiness that is incidental to it."

An insightful analysis of a man who turns out to be a 'deal-taker' rather than a 'deal-maker'. Britain needed a Trump; we got a lump.
