absolutely hate the Ai-generated 'pictures' in SS posts. unnecessary, sleazy art work. it values down the content too ("this article could well be as synthetic as its illustrations.")
In some ways, we need artificial intelligence because there sure as hell there isn't much evidence of the real stuff in the real world.
Aside from this, I personally dealt with omne related issues to do with this today with a few assignments (I am a teacher). The "AI Detector" was totally useless; the more topics had been discussed, the more the probability it will be picked up by "AI".
It is a vicious downward circle. Anyone who thinks that AI is the new revolution needs their head testing. All it can ever do is to regurgitate current thinking. Real intelligence, which we don't bother teaching anymore, would easily see this.
This was a fun article. I started my Substack, The Sylvian Point, in mid December. I have been using the 'generate' option to create the main image for each post. 'Generate' option works well if the instructions are simple. But if you try to combine multiple personalities/ graphic elements in an image then it goes haywire.
I managed to manipulate my brain processes sufficiently to correctly guess nos. 1 - 8, but Hunt and Sunak would have kept me guessing until kingdom come. In the end, I plumped for Robert Jenrick and Ed Milliband, the latter solely because of the implied love of the environment ! So, no whisky and fig mince pie for me, but you deserve oodles of them for illuminating my year. Happy Christmas David to you and yours.
No.6 reminded me of the Prince of Darkness a.k.a Peter Mandelson - the hair style and shape of the mouth are similar me thinks. Mandelson’s recent appointment as ambassador to the US is disturbing. The Lord of Darkness as he since become, was a close friend of Jeffrey Epstein who had links to Trump, Kennedy and Mr Musk. Anyway at least Rachel Reeves looks hot. Merry Christmas!
Wow
Rachel Reeves looks more human in the AI version than in real life!
Obviously that is the real Keir Starmer. He has been replaced in parliament with a Starmer-bot.
Have a very happy Christmas, David!

insane. Artificial? Yes....
Hot damn, even most of the guys look hot but the chicks are stellar. That's wild. If this is our AI utopian future, I'm in for the eye candy.
Merry Christmas to David & his fine readership. Here's looking forward to the strange unwindings of 2025.
In memoriam - Bruce Forsyth “Good fun”!!

Merry Christmas to you and your family too!

Lawerence Llewelyn Bowen is King Charles?
Online plastic surgery all round. Compliments of the season, Dr McGrogan, and thank you for the last year's food for thought.
If only Rachel Reeves were as hot as that, we might pardon her stupidity!
Lammy and Rayner self-select due to the colouring, Corbyn is obvious. As to the rest...
